Sixtieth Anniversary Leavers Reunion

Following the success in 2017 of a combined leavers reunion held at the school for all those who left HCS between 1955 and 1957, staff at the Development Office have agreed to once more organise another joint reunion, this time for members who left between 1958 and 1960.  OK – so the year 2019 is not quite sixty years for everyone but here’s the bonus….…..A Summer Sporting Fest!

It has been decided that the annual HCS & OH Regatta will be staged on Saturday afternoon 29th June 2019 together with a corresponding OH vs. HCS cricket match down on Wyeside.  Also a series of Rounders games will take place so there will be much to see and do that day.

Thus, to make it an enjoyable day for senior visitors celebrating this milestone, you will be invited for coffee & biscuits @ 9.30 am in the Old Deanery before visiting the Archive Room at No.1, Castle Street.  (NB> You’ll remember in the old days that room on the ground floor (left) used to be the Headmasters’ study!)  Thereafter, guests will be taken on a tour of the school buildings, lasting about 2 hours.  The intention will then be to reserve a set of tables in a nearby restaurant or wine bar for anyone wishing to have a light lunch and a catch-up in comfortable surroundings prior to descending to the riverbank.
